Highs & Lows
After the wonderful weekend and Tagaytay getaway, comes the bad ending. Okay na sana lahat. He met Sarah, Aja and Gelo last Friday night, accompanied me to CrisLag's despedida (which I think was a fun semi high school reunion :) then we got to Tags safely and I got the most awaited controversial yearbook from Aja last night.
It was fantastic while it lasted. We were free for the first time. It was our first out-of-town trip together and despite the white lie, and telling our parents that we were with friends, I'm sure we'd go again, but next time, with permission.
We had a blast together for almost 3 days/nights. Unfortunately, good things come to an end. We ended up having a big fight at around 1230 AM this morning, after he brought me home. We haven't fought in a while, and it was definitely to worst way to cap off that dream weekend and 1/2 anniv celebration.
But what can I do? Momentous occasions come with a twist. No matter how memorable the story is, the end has the biggest bearing.
So there goes 2 days of fun down the drain (not really), because of an ugly 15-minute argument on differences and personalities clashing.
Okay here's a recap.
HIGHS
1) Job evaluation with my boss, which yielded quite positive results
2) He met my Hum blockmates and we had dinner
3) He accompanied me to CrisLag's despedida and most some close high school friends met him
4) We enjoyed the overnight stay at Tagaytay and he liked my gifts.
5) I accompanied him to his company game at Acropolis, and he wasn't able to play. (that sent out the mad man out of him)
6) We went to Aja's house in LGV and I got my yearbook after 1 and a half years.
LOWS:
1) He had a flat tire that's why we got to Tagaytay late.
2) We fought before we parted, thus somehow ruining the entire weekend because some complicated issues about the relationship came up.
THE QUESTIONS REMAIN:
Is the greatness of a story only based on the ending?
Is the journey really more important than the destination ? (Or are people who think so just scared of the failing?)
Do years of relationship go to waste after a horrible break up?
Do people really remember the glory of a person's life even after death? (Or having does having a nasty death define your life?)

As if i didn't know the answers.
Sheesh. What a way to start a week.
